Test Upgrade Failing (8.6.4 to 9.0.3) [ Edited ]

Hello,

we would like to install an update from 8.6.4 to 9.0.3. We receive an error during the test upgrade:

Failing test upgrade due to DNS_UNBOUND enabled for syslog category. Unbound is no longer supported from 9.0 onwards and all related configs will be destroyed on upgrade.

Where is the configuration? What should we do?

I ran into the same thing.  I think this is from our Grid Syslogging setting including the selection for the "DNS Unbound" logging category, which this article says is deprecated in 9.x https://docs.infoblox.com/space/DAAG/10748054/Using+Unbound+DNS+Resolution

So I changed it in Grid/Grid Manager/Grid Properties/Monitoring/External Syslog Server, Edit, Logging Category section: from "Send All" to "Selected Catagories" and picked everything except DNS Unbound.

Post 9.x upgrade I will go back and switch it to "Send All" again, as by then that deprecated catagory should presumably be gone.

IMHO this is something that should have been handled better in the design of the upgrade and release notes.
