Hi, we have a need to perform an NIOS upgrade from 8.0.5 to 8.4 to utilize Infoblox in the cloud services. Currently our infoblox infrastructure consists on 4 x IB820 and we are experiencing issues with database capacity usage being over the 80 %. Our concern is that upgrading the same hardware platform to the higher nios version might potentially cause more issues as the NIOS requirements might be higher to properly support running services.
Is any community member experienced simmilar chalenge?
Are there any suggestion what would be the correct path taken in this case?
We have plans to upgrade our appliances to IB1425 in Q1 next year.
Appreciate responces.

I highly recommend discussing these upgrade plans with your infoblox account team, so they can review your environment and provide the correct path to take. I would also consider moving to IB1425 appliances before upgrading your environment. Please also note the following from the 8.4 release notes:
Note: Infoblox strongly recommends against using the TE-810 and TE-820 appliances as the Grid Master or Grid Master Candidate.
Thank you.
