You only need to fill the "old_password" and "password" fields if you're changing your own password. It's not needed to view information.

The error indicates there is no network defined for the IP address you're trying to create. There must be a network to contain the IP address.

We've been working with Infoblox support. Through much testing, I've confirmed that in order to get restart_status() to correctly report if configuration changes require a restart; the user's account must be set to have super user permission.

Are you trying to assign the DNS view, or the Network view? IPv6 Addresses won't get a DNS view as they' don't have a DNS function. However you can assign them to a Network view, using the "network_view" field.
