TE-1425 and licensing confusion

Hi

Our VAR quoted two 1425 Virtual Appliances for DDI deployment.

Licenses are in subscription model for 2 years.

My questions:

1) What will happen with services if subscription expire ? Will they stop work ?

2) Can we buy licenses in perpetual model + term support contract ? I'm not sure if it's available for Virtual Appliances.

Hi Rob,

1) Depends on the feature set but if you're only using basic DNS and DHCP protocol services, they will continue to run after the subscription expires.

2)Yes, there is a perpetual option when purchases virtual appliances which you can then purchase term maintenance.
