Route summarization in large OSPF network

Hello everyone.

We've build an ospf management throughout our entire network (Huawei ATNs only) with sixteen areas. And now I'd like to summarize routes from non-zero areas to optimize routing table in area 0 (it has a lot of /32 networks at the moment). Each area has it's own dedicated prefix, so it shouldn't be a problem.

The thing is - almost every area has two or more ABRs and from the point of healthy network design - is it ok if I will immplement route summarization on each ABR from certain area? Will this cause any unoptimized routes on the network?
