Hi;
Considering the UID button on physical appliances, can it be triggered by the GUI, this way you can invoke the flashing of the blue light at the back pannel to someone on site without being onsite.

UID Button | The unit identification button. Pressing the UID button illuminates the blue UID LED on the rear panel. In a rack environment, the UID feature enables easier location of a server when moving between the front and rear of the rack. You can also identify the appliance through the Infoblox Grid Manager and CLI command. |
The LED can be set several ways.
Via appliance
Press the UID button on the appliance.
Via the CLI
Infoblox > set lcd_settings hwident off
Turning ON the UID feature
You can show the current setting via CLI
Infoblox > show lcd_settings hwident off
Via Grid Manager, you can set or review the LED status (on/off)
Select a member, and click Hardware Identity in the toolbar. Status is shown. To turn LED on/off, hover over the member in the Hardware Identity list and click Turn On or Turn Off.
The Grid Member list has a column called Identity to show the status of the UID LED.
