CNAME's not showing up in DNS zone?

Lately I've noticed when someone adds a CNAME in a Host, using Alias tab, this record resolves in DNS but is not visible within the zone in gui.

Split view so one external facing and one internal zone with same name

Using search I can only find the external entry but not the internal, searching it's Host I can see the entry listed in Alias tab and it resolves internally. 

Anyone else seen this?

Learned now that CNAME's added in Alias tab of a Host gets identified as Host Alias which is not shown in default view of DNS Zone nor searchable using standard Search. 

To see these in DNS zone view one have to use filter for Type does not equal Host AND Type does not equal CNAME record. 

To Search one have to do an advanced search, and search for All which in my case takes a lot of time.  

We have individual systems with 80+ such Host Alias, none shows up in our Zones and searching for this would quickly become unmanagable 

-Is there a way to adjust default view of a DNS zone to include Host Alias?
