Delete or Remove Grid Member - which is it?

Hello,

I need to change the ip address of our NIOS system. We have a master and secondary.

I will guess to change the ip of a member - it must first be removed from the grid. I have seen no posting on how to remove a member from the grid. Does "delete" = "remove" in this case? We need to change the ip address of the master and the secondary.

Hello,

I believe you are planning to change the IP address of a member in an existing grid.

To change an IP address, you don't have to remove the member from grid to achieve it.

Instead, you can edit the members properties and change the IP address which would initiate a reboot with the new configuration.

Hi. Need to remove a Grid member and reclaim an IP. Getting error "The IP address ' ' is being used by a grid member. Cannot reclaim an IP address that is used by a grid member". Please assist. Any ideas please?
