Dear Expert,

Is it possible in Infoblox DHCP appliances not to release the IP when requested from host outside the domain? ie, it should not release IP when requested by an unknown host.

in the DHCP IPV4 option filter I can see many optiond for DNS, like

option 6- domain-name servers(6) array of ip address

option 15 - domain name(15)text

option 81 - fqdn(81)string

option 119 - domain search(119)string

and,many more.(screenshot attached

any could give an insight into this?

which option will work for me and the steps to implement it and possible impact on the network
