How popular is the DNS Fault Tolerant Caching feature among Infoblox enviornments?  I believe it was added in the 8.2 release which was enabled in my enviornment around 2017.  It has operated unnoticed for years but recently caused some issues (named crashes) according to support.  Fixes exist on some NIOS versions but even the current 8.6.4 is uncorrected.  I am considering just disabling it going forward to blend with with standard customer installs covered in development and testing cycles.

Quick testing seems on a fresh grid seems to imply it is disabled by default.  Ultimately, I'm curious if it is a common feature for production enviornments and what the actual Infoblox recommended setting is.

This is disabled by default and used nearly exclusively in service provider environments and not traditional customers.
