Licensing modification

Hello,

I am deploying two Infoblox Trinzic physical appliances and a reporting and analytics VM to provide DHCP service. To prepare the platform for deployment, I’ve actiated temporary licenses (Grid, NIOS, DNS, and DHCP), and performed the following configurations:

  1. Creating a Grid and setting up both appliances as an HA Grid master.
  2. Configuring DHCP networks and pools.
  3. Integrating the reporting and analytics VM as a Grid member.

With the purchased Infoblox licenses (Grid, NIOS, DNS, and DHCP) in hand, my plan is to activate these permanent licenses on each component before deploying the platform to the network. I’m seeking guidance on the best approach to replace the temporary licenses. Specifically, should I activate the purchased licenses first and then remove the temporary ones, or should I remove the temporary licenses first and then apply the purchased ones? In either scenario, I want to ensure that the configurations I’ve completed remain unaffected.

What would be the recommended approach to perform this license transition with minimal impact on the current configuration?

just deploy the new licences. they will 'take over' for the temp licences. (you shouldnt' be able to have multiple NIOS licenses for the same appliance)
