Hi,

Our Microsoft Servers on Grid > Microsoft Servers are syncing fine with Infoblox. When running the Test Microsoft Server the last test always shows as a failure. MS_LDAP_WKST_USABLE. Does anyone know what this test is and what the failure is telling us?

Thanks

Hello,

It usually means that you've configured AD domains-sites-subnet sync from that DC, perhaps alongside syncing DHCP/DNS and this DC does not have PDC Emulator FSMO role.

You could login to the DC and run "netdom query fsmo" to list its FSMO roles.

If there are multiple MS servers (DCs) configured for sync, please note that Sites and Subnets are only synced from a PDC and you can ignore this message on the remaining DCs (or disable sites and subnets sync). In the event of a PDC FSMO role transfer/migration to this DC, sync of sites and subnets will automatically start working from this DC.

Best Regards,
Bibin Thomas
