Need DNS mapping long-URL to short-name to be easy to use

Hello All,

 

Good Day,

 

Kindly need help, I am thinking about mapping long-URL like,

 

https://docs.infoblox.com/display/NAG8/About+Shared+Record+Groups#:~:text=To%20create%20a%20shared%2... 

 

to short name like infobloxdocument, 

 

Is it possible to doing this using Infoblox DNS?

 

My issue is mapping long URL to short name that can be easy to be write into browser.

 

Can you advise me on this please?

You need to define an alias on your web server, DNS cannot be used to shorten a URL like this.
