Owner field in EA attributes

Hi

is there is easy way through which i can add/update ownership in EA field of all DNS records (HOST, A, PTR, CNAME) pointing to IPs from subnet without going individually to each dns record and adding/updating ownership field

Hi Sharique,

You can try creating an extensible attributes with inhertance option so that when you assign an extensible attribute to a zone, it would get inherited to the records under the zone.

I've added a sample screenshot for your reference.

You can create a new extensible attribute under the below path in Infoblox GUI

Administration->Extensible Attributes
