I have a valid snmpv3 user/key/privacy strings that work in all my Cisco routers, but does not work in Infoblox. If I change to strings to something else without special characters, the access works. I am pretty sure there is some character in one of my 3 strings that infoblox does not like and does not actually add into the settings. I cannot find any published materials that describe the valid or invalid characters IB allows.
Here are the characters dispersed through my strings that might be special..
