Hi;

Let's say that all my grid members including the master and master candidate are in Australia. All except a single member in India.

What is the significance of changing the time zone for the member in the India to the local Indian time, since all logs are done using UTC time anyway.

Kindly

Most logs are stored in UTC format, regardless of the time zone set for an appliance. An improperly set time zone can affect timestamps for operations, causing things that depend on an accurate time to fail (such as secure connections). Either UTC or the correct time zone for where the appliance is located should be used when setting the system time.

Tony

Infoblox allows many changes to be scheduled.  One of these is during a grid upgrade.  You can set groups of devices to upgrade at certain dates and times, and having an accurate local time would allow upgrade during that location's maintenance window.  You can do the same for restarting services after a zone is added or DHCP network is created.
