Hi;

From my knowledge, if you schedule an upgrade, it will happen based on the member's time zone. My question, are there any operations or scheduled operations where the administrator time zone is significant? if not, what is the significant of the administrator time zone?

Kindly

Hello there,

When you configure the Time Zone in the User Profile, the Grid Manager uses this information to convert all displayed time values, such as the Syslog Time, Audit Log Time, Last Discovered, Last Login Time, etc in the NIOS Grid GUI. Normally, this would be auto-detected based on your Browser's Time Zone.

As for Upgrade / Distribution Schedule Time, the Time Zone specified in the User Profile is also used here. The Schedule displays Date, Time and Time Zone with respect to UTC, however the column "Admin Local Time" shows the converted time value as per the User configured Time Zone for ease.

Hope this helps.

Regards.

Thank you Braj. In this case, what is the significance of the member time zone?
