Inheriting EA with infoblox-client

We managed to get new host record creation working with Ansible Tower, however it seems that the Extensible Attributes are not being inherited from the network level.  I know we can define extattrs, but I can't find a way to inherit them.  I looked at the source code and see a reference to "EADefinition" but it mentions:

The Extensible Attribute Definition object is used to retrieve the
definition of an extensible attribute.

I see no mention of being able to set these to be inherited.  Am I missing something?  Is this not supported by the python client?
