Infoblox Azure VM Agent status Not Ready and Agent version Unknown

Hi,
I have deployed Infoblox NIOS 8.6.0 for DDI from Microsoft Azure Marketplace for testing purpose.
I have notice in the VM properties that shows Agent status is Not Ready and Agent version  is Unknown.

I want to use Microsoft Automation Account for Automatic VM guest Patching to schedule the OS Image updates.



How do i enable the Agent on Infoblox?
OR
How can i address the issue?

NIOS is a locked down OS and does not allow for the installation of extensions such as the Azure VM agent. You will need to download patches/updates from the Infoblox support site and apply them per the NIOS documentation. https://docs.infoblox.com/display/nios86/Upgrading+NIOS

If i deploy NIOS on RedHat 8.6.
NIOS will also locked down the RedHat OS?

That is correct. The underlying software/OS is the same no matter where it is deployed. There is no option to install outside agents.
