Has anyone else set up a DTC configuration for your Grid Manager and Grid Manager Candidates?
We've named our devices per our hostnaming standard and given it a 'pretty' name via DTC. I'm wondering if there's a better way to set it up (I inherited the current configuration).
We have two pools, each with one of the GMCs in it, which are monitoring HTTPS. The current GM has a ratio of 1 and is first in order. The GMC has a ratio of 10 and is second in order.
The load balancing method for the LBDN is Global Availability, with no persistence.
We have enabled GUI redirect from the members on both GMCs, so, it should eventually make it to the active GM, but I'm thinking access would be terribly slow if we forced a promotion to the candidate.
