Dear Expert,

 

i have dhcp case. is there any prevention if man in the middle send DHCP resquest using legitimate client MAC (clone Mac Address) while the legitimate Client still in current lease state ?

Hi,

 

I don't think Infoblox (DHCP Server) has feature to prevent mac address spoofing. May be security feature in the switch could be the answer like DHCP snooping and Dynamic ARP Inspection.

Hello,

 

Of course we demote the Domain controller properly,  but the case that I am not responsible for the Infoblox DNS, and my customer complaining that there is some residual DNS record left after proper removal, which is not the same case as with Windows DNS server.
