Host PC not obtaining the expected IP address

Hi, community,

I would like to seek your kind assistance regarding this issue I am currently facing,

I have received a request from one of our customers to bind her computer's MAC Address to an IP Address.

I have done the following steps:
1. Navigate to the requested IP address
2. Click Add > Fixed Address
3. Enter computer's Wi-Fi MAC Address
4. Save
From the customer's computer
5. Open CMD
6. Release - Renew ipconfig

The computer was unable to obtain the requested IP address and has obtained a different IP address.
