Upgrade NIOS from 8.2 to 8.3

Hello Members,

I have just applied an update to our nios server members.

from 8.2.1-359366 to 8.2.9-383779. With success.

I thought I would try the cli command "show upgrade_compatible" for the version.

This command returns the help file only. The other show commands work (like show version).

Any ideas here?

My next step is the apply nios-8.3.6-385000-2019-06-17-21-32-04_x86_64 to the members.

I just wanted to be sure that this upgrade/update is AOK.

"show upgrade_compatible" was a command that was only used in 6.x releases. For upgrade paths between versions, please look at the release notes of the version you're upgrading to.

I can tell you though that upgrading from 8.2.9 to 8.3.6 is perfectly viable and supported upgrade path. Thank you.
