NETWORKING
Infoblox Universal DDI™ Management: Manage Cloud Resolver Endpoints and Forwarding Rules for GCP
Coming Soon: Mid-to-Late December
Universal DDI will soon support discovering and managing cloud resolver endpoints for GCP. You will also be able to configure forwarding rules from the Infoblox Portal to define how and where queries are routed in your hybrid, multi-cloud architecture. This centralization will reduce configuration errors, streamline DNS rule changes, and provide network visibility, saving time and reducing complexity for network administrators.

SECURITY
Infoblox Threat Defense: Generative AI Support for Application Discovery
Coming Soon: Mid-December
Infoblox Threat Defense Advanced will soon include an Application Discovery feature that provides monitoring and support for popular Generative AI applications to enable customers to control 'Shadow AI' by identifying the Generative AI tools used by end users and block high risk tools. This will enable you to embrace generative AI to unlock its transformative power while safeguarding your organization from emerging cybersecurity threats.
Overall, Infoblox Threat Defense addresses critical generative AI risks, including sensitive data exposure and malicious links that may be presented in AI results or that could enter results through indirect prompt injection attacks. With 87% of security leaders concerned about data leaks from Shadow AI (unsanctioned AI use), our innovative Application Discovery feature will provide visibility into generative AI tools in use to help with compliance and security. Enhanced with proactive threat intel, we will track and disrupt threat actor infrastructure before it escalates, enabling your organization to detect and block malicious links and malware activity so you can confidently harness AI’s potential.
Infoblox Threat Defense: Infoblox Endpoint Enhancements
Coming Soon: Mid-January
Infoblox Endpoint on Windows, MacOS, and Linux will provide protection whether the endpoint is online or offline. When connected to Infoblox Cloud, full DNS resolution and protection are available. With this release, offline endpoints will still be safeguarded with a subset of locally stored threat intelligence.
Infoblox Endpoint for Windows will receive additional hardening to prevent most common tampering tactics that occur when admin users stop or disable the service, terminate the process, or remove configuration files. When such attempts are detected, they will be logged in the security log available on the Infoblox Portal.
