Infoblox IQ for Threat Defense is generally available as of June 29, 2026. On July 31, 2026, the SOC Insights user interface will be retired and will no longer be accessible. Threat investigations will be available in IQ for Threat Defense.
Infoblox IQ for Threat Defense builds on SOC Insights and replaces it with a more connected investigation and response workflow. It helps your security team prioritize the threats that matter most and investigate more quickly and easily with rich DNS, network, asset, user, and security context, then move from investigation to remediation in one connected workflow.
New capabilities include an agentic AI assistant for conversational investigations and AI actions for one-click remediation. Your team spends less time on manual triage and moves from detection to action, while analysts stay in control with a complete audit trail.
This change applies to the SOC Insights user experience only. The SOC Insights API and your existing ecosystem integrations will remain fully available, with no interruption, until your environment is migrated to the new IQ for Threat Defense API and integrations. No action is required to keep your current integrations running.
After July 31, the SOC Insights experience will no longer be accessible, and no action is required to transition. Customers with an existing SOC Insights entitlement will gain access to Infoblox IQ for Threat Defense automatically. We encourage you to start exploring threat investigations in IQ for Threat Defense before that time.
