Infoblox Universal DDI Management: Manage Cloud Resolver Endpoints and Forwarding Rules for AWS and Azure
Now Available
Universal DDI now supports discovering and managing cloud resolver endpoints from AWS and Azure. You can also configure forwarding rules from the Infoblox Portal to define how and where queries are routed in your hybrid, multi-cloud architecture. This centralization reduces configuration errors, streamlines DNS rule changes, and provides network visibility, saving time and reducing complexity for network administrators.
Infoblox Universal Asset Insights: Enable/Disable IPAM Discovery for Cloud Service Providers
Now Available
This enhancement allows you to control discovery for AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud services, giving you more flexibility in managing your cloud assets. When IPAM discovery is enabled, the IP address information of discovered assets will be synchronized with Universal IPAM.
NIOS-X as a Service: Feature Updates
Now Available
- User selectable 'Recommended Point of Presence': You can now select “Use Recommended Location,” which automatically chooses the most optimal Point of Presence (PoP). It is useful for configuring geographically distributed locations as it calculates the optimal PoP for a quick response. By selecting this option, users can avoid manual calculations, and instead, let NIOS-X as a Service choose the PoP automatically.
- Update custom network attributes: You can modify Custom Network Attributes, such as KeyID, FQDN, or Email, without having to reconfigure the entire service.
- Clear DNS cache: You can clear the DNS cache for each service deployment to resolve any DNS issues in your environment.
- Clear DHCP lease: Users can now clear active and abandoned leases through the Infoblox Portal. When users clear an active or abandoned lease, its IP address becomes available for reuse.
- Route site response traffic: The 'Neighbor IP' feature ensures that organization site response traffic is routed unambiguously to the IPSec tunnel.
NIOS-X Server: Feature Updates
Now Available
- DHCP status for IPv4 and IPv6 networks: You can now view the status of your IPv4 and IPv6 networks separately.
- Default password changes for NIOS-X physical servers: You can now change the default password for the Device UI when configuring NIOS-X physical servers. This can be done through the Infoblox Portal, Device UI, or Debug CLI.
NIOS: VMware IPAM Plug-In 6.1.0
Now Available
This enhancement simplifies the automation of VMware workloads for complex IT tasks. This IPAM Plug-In improves certificate SSL data retrieval and supports VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator 8.16.2 and 8.17 versions, including new AI, automation, health checks, and visibility features. Infoblox VMware IPAM Plug-In 6.1.0 improves service delivery, management efficiency, and IT agility in hybrid enterprise networks.
