The Universal DDI Product Suite consists of Infoblox Universal DDI Management™ for comprehensive management, Infoblox Universal Asset Insights™ for infrastructure-wide visibility and analysis, expanded reporting and Ecosystem options, and flexible deployment options, including NIOS-X as a Service, NIOS-X Virtual Servers, and NIOS-X Physical Servers. Terraform IPAM Plug-In 2.8.0: Extends Automation and DNS Control
Now Available
NIOS introduces the next Terraform IPAM Plug-In 2.8.0, including support for DNS delegation to divide DNS zones into smaller, more manageable parts and for enhancing user management permissions. It also reduces the load on primary DNS servers for better performance and increases flexibility in configuring DNS subdomain settings. This Terraform Plug-In further provides next available IP address automation based on extensible attribute tagging for easier management, performance, flexibility, and control.

BloxOne Threat Defense: Renamed to "Infoblox" Threat Defense
The recent launch of Infoblox Universal DDI marks the biggest moment for both our company and networking technology in over a decade. As we’re pioneering this new era of simplifying operations for our customers, we also want to remove complexity from how our products are named.
To achieve this goal, we’re rebranding some of the products in our portfolio. This includes removing the name “BloxOne” from products like BloxOne Threat Defense, which is now named Infoblox Threat Defense™. NetMRI: End-of-Life Announcement
Projected Date: April 2027
On April 30, 2025, NetMRI will reach its Last Order Date (LOD) milestone, with the End-of-Life (EoL) scheduled for April 30, 2027. NetMRI renewals will be allowed after the LOD until the EoL date. NIOS 8.6: End-of-Life Announcement

Reminder: On April 30, 2025, NIOS 8.6 and its derivative releases (8.6.0, 8.6.1, 8.6.2, 8.6.3, and 8.6.4) will reach their End-of-Life (EoL) milestones. NIOS releases before 8.6.0 are already past their EoL dates. BloxOne DDI: End-of-Sale Announcement
Projected Date: April 2025
Infoblox is officially announcing the Last Order Date (LOD) for BloxOne DDI SKUs as of the date of this communication. Beginning April 30, 2025, the BloxOne DDI software SKUs will no longer be available. No new BloxOne DDI renewals will be allowed after this date either.
However, all current BloxOne DDI contracts will be honored for the duration of the contractual agreement, and any existing customer may move to Universal DDI Management at any time before the next renewal or expansion event. Please note that all expansion or True-Forward events after April 30, 2025, will require a move to Universal DDI Management and the corresponding NIOS-X as a Service, NIOS-X Physical, or NIOS-X Virtual deployment options.
Universal DDI Management and the related NIOS-X deployment options include all capabilities previously available in BloxOne DDI and more, including unified DNS management for public clouds, access views for segmented domain management, and integrated management of NIOS objects across multiple grids. Universal DDI Management also seamlessly integrates with Universal Asset Insights for enhanced discovery, visibility, and analysis of all assets across the enterprise.
Note: This communication relates to the BloxOne DDI software SKUs and does not apply to the Infoblox B1-212 physical server or the Infoblox BloxOne sandbox SKU.
