Infoblox IQ Now Available
Infoblox IQ is an agentic operations layer built on the most authoritative network, security and asset data in the enterprise. Infoblox IQ continuously analyzes the DNS queries, DHCP leases, IP address assignments, device activity and security events flowing through the Infoblox platform to help teams identify issues faster, automate investigations and take action with confidence. It brings together product-specific AI actions, a portfolio-wide AI assistant and the Infoblox Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server so teams can get faster answers, investigate issues with more context and take approved action without jumping between disconnected tools or waiting for manual escalation. Infoblox Universal DDI Management: Microsoft DHCP Lease Management
Now Available
You can now manage Microsoft DHCP leases directly from the Infoblox Portal, including
clearing active leases and converting them into reservations. This helps streamline lease
management, reduces the number of tools and steps involved, and brings more of your DHCP administration into a single interface. A new “Add to Filter” action is visible as part of a coming soon enhancement and workflow.
Infoblox Universal DDI Management: dnstap Support
Now Available
Now you can use high-speed dnstap-based local logging in Universal DDI to capture
comprehensive DNS telemetry without the performance or storage overhead of traditional
logging. By streaming full-fidelity DNS activity, even in high-volume environments, you gain
stronger forensic visibility and better support for compliance and audit requirements. This also helps you speed the detection, analysis and response to DNS-related threats.
Infoblox Universal DDI Management: NIOS-X Local Logging Support Using TCP/TLS
Now Available
You are now able to send NIOS-X log data to your local syslog servers over TCP/TLS,
extending logging beyond UDP-based transport. This enhancement gives you a more reliable and secure way to manage logs and strengthen your audit trail. It also simplifies integration with modern security and observability platforms that require encrypted, stateful syslog, while keeping your log data under your control.
Infoblox Universal DDI Management: Export IPAM Tables
Now Available
You now have the ability to export IPAM data from Universal DDI CSV format for offline use.
This update also lets you customize the export by choosing only the columns you need, making it easier to tailor the output to your workflow or analysis needs.
Infoblox Universal DDI Management: Tagging Support for Discovered Objects
Now Available
With this new enhancement you can create, update, and delete tags for discovered objects
directly from the Infoblox Portal dashboard. Tags persist when objects are resynchronized with a discovery source and are automatically removed when the object is deleted, helping you maintain accurate, up-to-date metadata without having to reapply tags manually.
NIOS-X and NIOS-X as a Service: Lease Migration
Now Available
This newly released feature preserves your active DHCP lease data when reassigning a
subnet from one NIOS-X Virtual Server or NIOS-X as a Service instance to another. It helps
keep your services running during planned migrations or disaster recovery events, allows your devices to retain their existing IP addresses where possible and reduces the risk of duplicate IP assignments and unplanned outages.
Infoblox Universal Asset Insights™: Expanded Visibility Across Hybrid Networks
Now Available
Infoblox Universal Asset Insights expands its discovery ecosystem with new secure API
integrations for Nozomi Networks, Palo Alto Prisma, VMWare Vcenter, Tenable and HPE Aruba New Central, extending visibility across IoT, SD-WAN, vulnerability management and network management platforms. These integrations continuously ingest up-to-date device, application and security telemetry, providing a more complete view of assets across hybrid environments.
Universal Asset Insights creates a single, trusted, authoritative inventory by correlating this
data with DNS, DHCP and IPAM. The result is faster asset discovery, improved IPAM accuracy, streamlined CMDB reconciliation and quicker identification of stale, unmanaged or misconfigured assets.

Infoblox Universal DDI Management: Move Leases for NIOS and Microsoft

You’ll soon be able to preserve active DHCP lease information when subnets are moved
between Microsoft DHCP, NIOS, NIOS-X, and NIOS-X as a Service environments. This will
help keep your existing leases during operational changes or disaster recovery events, while
allowing renewals and new lease assignments to continue more smoothly after the migration.
NIOS-X as a Service: Anycast NTP Support
Coming Soon
Universal DDI support for NTP over Anycast will soon be expanded to include NIOS-X as a
Service. This capability will simplify administration and provide a more resilient approach in
environments with devices that only support a single NTP server IP address.
NIOS-X as a Service: Auto Rightsizing

NIOS-X as a Service now supports automatic rightsizing, so capacity can expand as demand grows without manual resizing. This helps reduce your license management and administrative overhead while keeping server sizing aligned with changing workload requirements.
NIOS DDI: vNIOS Support in AWS China Regions

Infoblox will soon support the deployment of vNIOS in AWS China Regions, giving global and China-based organizations a supported way to run Infoblox DDI in the cloud in China.
Especially for global organizations, this offering extends their enterprise-grade DDI foundation across on-premises and other cloud environments to include workloads running on AWS China.
Infoblox DDI in China is primarily delivered on premises, while cloud workloads depend on
native DNS/DHCP or separate tools. By running vNIOS on AWS China, you will soon also be
able to use Infoblox for those cloud workloads and apply the same DNS, DHCP and IPAM
policies used elsewhere. This will give you the hybrid-cloud DDI visibility that includes AWS
China, using familiar controls for audit, reporting and security integrations as you expand into the cloud in AWS China.

Infoblox Endpoint UX/UI Refresh
Coming Soon
This upcoming release will deliver a more modern endpoint management experience in the
Infoblox Portal. You can look forward to clearer health monitors, improved detail views, richer status and upgrade logs as well as safer bulk and group operations. As a result, you will be able to answer operational questions around endpoint protection more quickly. It will also reduce risk when making changes across large endpoint groups and minimize the need to switch between views during troubleshooting.

Early Access Program: Block Non-Trusted DNS Resolvers
Coming Soon – June 15, 2026
Infoblox is launching early access to Block Non-Trusted DNS Resolvers. This program will
provide early access to close a common DNS security gap for roaming users by preventing
endpoints from sending DNS traffic to unapproved public or third-party resolvers. Instead,
endpoints will be restricted to use only trusted resolvers such as Infoblox Threat Defense
Anycast, network-provided DNS or approved internal and fallback resolvers defined in policy. This reduces the chance that users or malware can bypass DNS-layer security controls while still allowing phased rollout by endpoint group.

Early Access Program: Detection Mode for NIOS-X
Coming Soon
Infoblox is launching early access for Detection Mode for NIOS-X deployments. This program will provide early access to Threat Defense Detection Mode for NIOS-X servers without requiring customers to change their existing DNS resolution. By streaming DNS query metadata for analysis while keeping resolution local, customers can assess detection value, surface security events and preserve client IP attribution without adding latency or forcing an architectural change. This gives teams a lower-risk way to validate value, support proof-of value efforts, and move toward enforcement when they are ready.
